Yeah, and the millions of Euros Germany alone gives China every year as development aid count for nothing. Not to speak about development aid for China from other countries.

Certainly, a thankyou would be nice

Afaik, financial aid to China was halted in 2008. I"m not sure whether or not this also applied to technical assistance. Could you name these other countries that still pay development aid to China?

Germany gave 27,5 million Euro to China 2009, and additional 20 million for environment protection.

Japan gives, the US give...China still receives a lot of development aid.

Japan gives nothing. This stopped two or three years ago except for cultural preservation projects and this can hardly be called development aid. The 27 million EUR you mentioned was technical assistance. Not sure whether this still continues.

What does the U.S. give?????

You are right, Japan stopped its aid 2008 with the olympics. I don`t know whether the 27,5 million were technical help (although i doubt it...but if you have a source...), fact is 27,5 million went to China. I think they haven`t decided yet whether the aid will go on...the new German government is such a mess....
