Japanese people are united when they're in foreign countries. few migrant Japanese are bullied if they operate shops and restaurants. but when chinese are in a foreign country, they don't like to unite with each other and their shops are often damaged by local people.

when chinese visit japan, they're often surprised that such a small country with so many people can manage the domestic issues so well. everywhere is clean, people are polite. china is like another world comparing with japan.

china really learn from japan at least on how to educate children to be civilized.

This is a good thread but it's not easy to explain the differences between both peoples in a few sentences.

Japanese are far less entreprneurial than Chinese. Japan's people always think in this way: Nation first, Job second, Family third and the individual last.

Abroad they're shy and introvert and hardly mix with their environment. They're 100% law abiding even if it is hard for them to agree. They no not strive for maximum profit but are usually happy with less and carefully observe the 'mood' inside their host country to avoid confrontation.

I think China has changed a lot over the last couple of years. They're on the right track.

Obedience towards teachers and family is strictly observed in Japan. Authority is never questioned!!
