Let me speak for all americans, we don't need  the ccp censoring things about america in china.  If they truly want people to get the 'right idea' the only way to do that is to open up the internet.  If you really felt the ccp was as great as you say, than they should  be able to survive well without censorship.  If not, they were never good to begin with.  It's like a litmus test.

And another thing Desa - how do you expect foreigners to understand that the CCP censors for the purpose of good?
Hasn't eveyone had to deal with censorship to some degree?  We know what it's for. - it's to protect their own image and that's it.
Maybe if all foreigners were children they might buy that statement, but for the rest of the world, we know better.
The more a country has to censor, the more it has to hide.  FACT

the problem isn't whether china's censorship is right or wrong, since you cannot judge the validity of a country's system. every nation has its way to survive. the point is, whether the foreign companies, including foreigners can live with the system. since china doesn't invite any of them initially, it's their own choices come to china to do business, so it's their responsibility to live with the regulation in china, otherwise, it's their right to leave china if they don't want to obey the regulations. it's quite simple. what made the issue complicated was that google criticized china's censorship to make itself a victim who's forced to leave china. that's not that responsible.

Google should of never went to China.  Their whole business model is in opposition with chinese laws.
It was the hacking, the stealing of intellectual property by china that was the final straw that made them leave.
But they should of never have gone there to begin with.  Everyone knows that your business product WILL get ripped off and
rebranded in china.  America is the great innovator - China the great imitator.   They must of been very naive or stupid going to China to begin with.
