Sir Paul McCartney

London, July 31 (ANI):

Sir Paul McCartney wants to call it quits after a final world tour in which he wishes to perform at places where he has never played before, it has emerged.

According to a source, there are talks going on to let him stage at landmark locations like China's  TNM Square and the region around Berlin's Checkpoint Charlie.

"He's making enquiries about a number of special locations and he's keen to play in China and at Checkpoint Charlie," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

The insider said: "I just hope the UK will be on the loveable mop-top's itinerary."

The former Beatles singer's last major stint in Britian was the Back In The World Tour in 2003.

McCartney, who will be 70 by the time the planned concerts get over, apparently, wants to hang his guitar with a big bang.

The source added: "Paul wants to go out with a bang.

"He's played countless stadiums over his 50-year career and is on the hunt for the most unusual locations he can find.

"He realises that the older he gets, the less his body will be able to cope with the demands of extended periods on the road.

"He might play the odd benefit gig if the likes of President Obama gives him a bell - but other than that he'll be putting his feet up and enjoying retirement.

"The tour in 2010 is likely to last well over a year, by which time he will be almost 70." (ANI)

Why NOT let him perform?

Where is the harm?

Berlin's Checkpoint Charlie.

Very welcome - I'll be there to see one of the greatest artists of all time.

If he want's to leave with a "big bang" as he said, this might be more achievable with his plans to go to China.

But maybe not the way he had dreamed of.

:)

Why not Paul McCartney on Fallujah?

Oh I forgot, the depleted uranium.

Of course he prefers China, no nuclear contamination here.

What's that. Are you suspecting Sir Paul of having any bad intentions ?

.
No, just that he's afraid of US sophisticated weapons.

He doesn't afraid of Chinese.
