You might not have noticed but Google left. (They weren't told to go)

I trust you feel safer now they are "gone".

There are more than 480 companies among Fortune 500 which has landed on the mainland of China.

Who cares Google's leaving or going?

Without China this biggest market, its day will get tough. The cash cow of Google goes too.

Without Google, we still can use different searching engines.

Did you Google that?

Most Chinese don't sympathise with Google.

Really?
Is that because search results are filtered here in on the Mainland, and they don't have access to both sides of the story

Where are you getting your information?

Didn't you claim that Google left cos they couldn't make any money here (They couldn't cut it)
Which is it?

This doesn't answer the questions put to you, nor does it defend your claims.
Better try harder.

The mainland is the biggest market in the world.

Yes, mainlanders including me, I live in the mainland, request Google not to stay in China, if it wouldn't like to abide our laws.

Ask your Chinese pupils to read the comments of 163.com about Google, and translate our opinion for you.

You may have requested them to leave.
But that's like trying to close the gate after all the horses have already bolted
Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Let's face it, sooner or later (If the trend continues) you and the other fenqing will no longer have much to complain about.
Most of the world's most popular sites (In their respective categories) are already gone.

And you will be left with your very own l'll itty bitty piece of the internet (the ChinaNet)
You have fun with that.
The rest of the world will still be able to enjoy all of it.
I'm thankful that I have a VPN that allows me to access all of it. (At least I am not stuck in internet darkness with you)

And if you can't see the benefits of having full access to the internet. then sorry i just can't help you.
