Freedom of Speech and Rights

In the United States there are some states that still officially have blasphemy laws on the books. Massachusetts, for example, has an anti-blasphemy statute within Chapter 272 (said chapter being titled "Crimes against Chastity, Morality, Decency, and Good Order") of its General Laws:

Section 36. "Whoever wilfully blasphemes the holy name of God by denying, cursing or contumeliously reproaching God, his creation, government or final judging of the world, or by cursing or contumeliously reproaching Jesus Christ or the Holy Ghost, or by cursing or contumeliously reproaching or exposing to contempt and ridicule, the holy word of God contained in the holy scriptures shall be punished by imprisonment in jail for not more than one year or by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars, and may also be bound to good behavior."

Wow!

Look at them guys.

Strange that China would want to have some control in this.

It's only people enjoying their faith.

It may surprise you,

that the CCP "copied" the Nazis in this field qite well,

they forced the existing catholic church into the "Patriotic Church of China".

They were able to "manipulate" the church in such a way, that the "Patriotic Church of China" can only ordain bishops and cardinals who get the approval of the CCP.

Furthermore these CCP-loyal Church administration (not all) started to mimic  and parrot the government.

Quite similar situation !

Clemens August Graf von Galen

Blessed Clemens August Graf von Galen (March 16, 1878 - March 22, 1946) was a German count, Bishop of Muenster, and Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He received his education in Austria at the Stella Matutina (Jesuit School). After his ordination he worked in Berlin at Saint Matthias, where he became close friends with Nuncio Eugenio Pacelli, later to be Pope Pius XII.

An outspoken critic of the Nazi regime, he issued forceful, public denunciations of the Third Reich's euthanasia programs and persecution of the Catholic Church, making him one of the most visible and unrelenting internal voices of dissent against the Nazis.

Since I am not expecting that the mods will co-operate with me in such a way they do with expatter I will not even try to upload images and the whole story here. For those who are interested, you may read on here:
