A survey shows that nearly 60 percent of foreign policy experts in the United States see China as the most important future US ally.

In October and November, the US-based Pew Research Center surveyed 1,000 foreign policy experts, including US government officials and university professors. 642 of them responded.

Asked which countries or territories will be more important future US allies, the largest ratio of 58 percent chose China.

China, which ranked third 4 years ago, was followed by India, Brazil, the European Union, Russia, and Japan. Japan placed second in the previous survey.

The research center also surveyed 2,000 civilians aged 18 or older about favorability of countries. In the survey, Japan ranked third after Canada and Britain. China placed eighth.

In the same survey, the largest share of 44 percent answered China is the world's leading economic power. The US ranked second with 27 percent. Thirteen percent said Japan.

These results indicate that Americans are increasingly feeling the presence of China.

your musIim agenda is only to see the US fall.  You think an atheist country, that loves pork above all else, and oppresses its own musIim population is a better friend to the middle east than the US?

China's current foreign policy is the same as the US's 100 years ago.  Trying to be a regional power, talking about sovereignty , mutual benefit, removing protectionism, and general non interference.  Look how that ended up.

China is developing, once it is developed, it will have the same things to lose and gain as the US and they will likely become the best of friends.

Aside from supplying oil, they also provide sand and camel dung

in volumes enough to match the perverted abse of their governments on their people, ain't that right, baofeng, the Chinese poser from the Arabic land of sand?
