IMHO, French makes me think of elegance

Germans is really rough, not my taste. Alike Scandinavian languages, that sound very similar to me.

English is still rugged but losses some of the edgy sharp sounds.

Italian and Castillian Spanish gives me good melancholic feeling, Reminds me of my roots on the other side of the ocean.

Chinese is short and precise. it makes me think of directness.

Japanese has very clear sounds, with short simple syllables and multisyllabic words. Even though i don't speak it, it seem so accessible.

Brazilian Portuguese, sounds to me like a cool version of Spanish.

I also like Colombian Spanish since its reminiscent to my Colombian friends. Beside being very open and clear.

And I cannot talk about " Porteño", my own version of Spanish since it seem natural to me. Although i have heard it sounds arrogant and aggressive

French language reminds me of expensive perfume, champagne, and fashion, which I don't have money to buy.

German language reminds me of blue Danube, philosophers, classic musicans like Beethoven, precision apparatus, developed auto industry.

Japanese language is easily accessible for Chinese, but mostly just limited in Japan. I have ambivalent emotion to Japan. The language makes two ABCs have to fight each other.

That's more culture related than sound.

What do you think of the sound of each language?

I don't study the sound of each language. My ears are not sensitive enough to the sound.

If I am not interested in its culture, it is hard to drive me to learn the language. French is more useful than German. It is an official language in some African countries. Yet, I am not interested in France too much.
