Reading can be tiring, especially after a long day at work.I would only glance through a few pages in the magazines just for relaxation. It's difficult for me to finish reading or studying a book: ...

How "much" we read is not the most important. "What" we read is the most important. It is unfortunate that due to censorship in China you cannot read everything. Even your internet access is restricted due to "filtering". Your government wants you to read and see what they want you to read and see. You do not know how much you are missing.
Your "babysitter" is "big brother". It is a shame.

Totally cliche. If that were true, then how some foreigners living in China claim that they can read and see more than Chinese do? We are living in the same place, sharing the same information, but why you think that you can get more freedom than us? Does you brain receive signal from the satellite? Or are you not human beings? extraterrestrial intelligence?

I like books, but I always have no time for reading because of everyday busy work.
So when off duty time, I will get some book in hand, it's so exciting.
