No!

We have our "Free State of Bavaria" which is a little bit more autonomous than the other German states. This derives from Bavarian history, since they had their own King for
...

What a funny comparision.

Bavaria wasn't backed by foreign powers, not even by 'mighty Austria,' to become independent. The last King of Bavaria was a joke, ok so is the m onk, and nobody asked for 'meaningful' autonomy.

Conclusion, your Bavaria story doesn't hold water.

Nelson Mandela's great grandson opined that South Africa has lost its independence. Maybe it's fast becoming a Chinese puppet republic (he didn't say that but that wasn't too far from his mind).

No, they finally gain independence from manacle of west.

>How come that the Chinese government maintains such a bad impression of the DL whereas the whole world is admiring him ?

You seem to be making the claim that conventional wisdom is always correct. Well it isn't. George W. Bush was a very popular guy in October 2001. That didn't stop him from implementing some dumb strategies. The world pretty much got that one wrong.

>Some governments see their people as their "property".

You must be referring to certain "governments-in-exile", whose god-head leader contracted out his followers as levied feudal labor. I guess he was still having a hard time getting used to the concept that he no longer owned them as serfs. Might still have an issue with that, you'd have to discuss it with him at his next "peace conference" appearance.

is D.L invited by the conference organizers?
why does D.L so active recently?  attending a intervies, then wanting to participate this conference!
BTW, I have totally disdained the Nobel Peace Prize, since long time ago, i had known that D.L is one of Nobel laureates.
