I work for a bank in zhejiang, and I earn exactly RMB800($120)every month.

it is no lie.

I have to pay for the rent (400 per month)

I have to eat (500 per month)

see... I cannot even make ends meet...

I got this job last year, and i am not an intern anymore...

No vacation(Even during spring festival) + 6 days per week + lots of pressure    =     USD 120 per/month

Sometimes I  just wonder if it is all real ?!

Should I quit?

well...  it is not easy to find a job in this economic chill...

And there do exist some opportunities to get big promotion in my current job..(By that time my salary might reach 6W RMB per yr)

So lost~~~

The staff of my stores are payed 1500Y fix salary in Beijing.
I can't believe you just make 800, even in Zhejiang.
What is your current position?
The prices are raising everywhere, but salaries are still so low in China. That's clearly not fair. How can you even improve your life, have dreams, when you don't have enough money to pay your rent and eat properly?
Wait until markets get more stable (probably 2010), and change job...

what's the legally lowest income in your city? I think it's not right for a formal regular employee to earn 800 in Zhejiang....no!~ any social welfare? Banks should not treat employees unfairly, not to mention outside of rules!!

if it's all complied to local regulations, you may try searching for another job, while still working at your position. Just pay attention to recruitment ads and make applications!

It's down time but you can't afford to pass up any chance for a better paid job, can you?

wish you good luck!!
