the little girl should show some respect  to chair Mao

She showed bad judgement. But it seems at least that she was good natured about it. In the scheme of things there are people who do far worse. Have her do some work cleaning local parks and monuments.

And would there have been a new China without the old China?

Would there be prosperity without stability, stability without strength, strength without leadership?

The freedom to be unconventional today is built on the foundations of the conventional of yesterday.  After all, one can only be un-conventional from something which was conventional, isn't it?

Being different doesn't always mean being right.

Even pigeons have greater respect. She wouldn't have climbed if there were bird droppings, would she?
