..since the autonomous region's peaceful liberation in 1951.....

Why does it appear compulsory to use the expression "peaceful liberation" ?

The enthusiasm for this expression is a bit like "People's dem0cratic republic of......."
It's a lie which is used according to the precept that if you repeat a lie often enough, people will come to believe it.

Well give up now, we all know the reality.

Co-operation not a contest .

# 9  emu,

I can say , without fear of contradiction that all the above graphs showing the progress of Tibetans over the past 60 years is the mirror image of those " enjoyed " by the Australian Aborigines . Their life expectancy has slumped to a 17 year deficit compared with the rest of Australia , their infant mortality and maternal morbidity has gone through the ceiling and their education is nil . They did have 50,000 of their children " stolen " ( disappeared ) by the decree of the government though , something that the Chinese has never even considered . Of their 2% of the population , they contribute 25% of the prison inmate population !!

No wonder lemon sucking grumpy old sods like emu just cannot bear the progress shown in China .It is as though it shows up more the racist and apartheid policies of the white supremacists down under .It need not be : you can learn from China too huh ?

the statistic datas above give clearly what happened to Tibet in the past years, the living standard here have improved a lot for the Tibetan,  so there is no way for Tibet to separate from China, it will never be permited by the government, either the people living in the field for
generations.

Are there any graphs that show change over time?  1951 to 2004 is a big jump.  I do like how the translation for 'hen shao' is 'a fat lot'.

How do we know these charts do reflect stats pertaining to real natives?

Isn't it likely the Tee's and the Chinese' relevant data have been lumped together?

I know that it's difficult for you to accept reality. Here are a few figures:

The T A R  has approx. 3 million inhabitants. 2,7 million are T1b3t4ns, <0.2 million are Han and <0,1 million belong to other ethnic minorities.

Less than 300,000 people of non  ethnic T1b3t4n origin don't make that much of a difference, do they?
