Did China provided the spark for the European Rennaisance?

A picture tells a thousand words.

In 1434 book there are loads of black and white comparative illustrations showing over 20 Chinese inventions side by side with their European counterparts, many of which were invented hundreds of years after the original Chinese designs.

     With these and more wonderful uses of the said object, you can enjoy yourself on a sandy island for decades- no need to make a fool of yourself here anymore.
