President Bush and Prime Minister Fukuda re coming for a visit

Both President Bush and Prime Minister Fukuda will be attending the opening ceremony of the Beijng Olympic Games.

RUSUTSU, Japan – President Bush arrived on the lush and mountainous northern Japanese island of Hakkaido on Sunday to talk to world leaders about climate change, soaring oil and gas prices and aid to Africa. But first, he defended his decision to attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics next month – and got a little help from his host, Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda of Japan, who announced that he would also attend.

Cross-straits relations are improving and it's likely peace with North Korea isn't far off either. It's likely the U.S. will begin disengaging from the region.

All this combines into a trend which will ultimately leave Sino-American relations as the strongest relations in the world.
