a house is hard to afford. maybe i cannot get a house next 20 years.
suppose 1 square metre=10000
how many yeaars will i earn that much money? hopeless

salary/wages that we earn today's...

plain & simple...we DONT capable of owning anything according to what we make today's, but i'm ready to rob

Comes down to location and transportation.

I do believe that Fat Dragon and PJTran can relate to what I am talking about.

Big city centers, like Shanghai and New York City are simply too pricey to find a home.  However, if there is a good, affordable subway and/or rail system - then finding an affordable home 10 to 30 miles from the city center should be better.

Either that, or participate in a "genderifcation" movement in a "not so good part" of that city.

Regardless - living in the Chicago area, I can vouch for the issue of the "high cost of living" - it can suck hind teat!

It is common for Chinese people to refer to apartments or flats as ''houses''.  So common in fact that I now correct myself rather than correct them.

at suburb of shanghai, the housing price has reached at 8k per sq.m., but the avarage salary in shanghai only is approximately 2.5~3k for sure,   MY GOD! impossible to afford one house, so most of people have to consider to transfer their destination to kunshan, sushou etc,
