I would love to control TIBET, Mr. Emucentral.

If independent, TIBET could literally "blackmail" India, China, IndoChina.
Imagine some river diversion, (might not be so easy...)
and gosh, serious repercussions.

Tibet, i presume must be always covered with clouds, and possibly hazy.
Soldiers will have to be "pretty tough" to survive the distances, so it's possibly need a lot of mechanical help.
Helicopter gunships, light tanks, maybe some jet fighters to defend.

if TIBET is independent, it would quickly become militarized.......
however, i think TIBETAN has long been associated with the Chinese Kingdom....mainly the spiritual advisors to the Royalty.

Yeah, that'd be feasible if Afghanistan was  a "green zone", but it isn't so the reality is far from what you suggest. As for Pakistan, ok, well, nope! Pakistan is fast descending into a political basket case and can't even control the muslim fundamentalists they have within their own borders. How then, could they provide a secure staging area for any prospective "liberation" of the areas as suggested by you. I think that as a war game, this'd be interesting but in reality, nigh on impossible and undesirable. It'd take the combined power of all of the western allied countries to pull this one off and it'd be a millstone around their necks for many years to come. Nobody has ever managed to pacify the tribesmen of Afghanistan or the fundamentalists on Pakistan.

Kiwi.

I'm not suspecting the Pakistan government. But the threat originates from this country. There are forces at work that cooperate with the East T ur ke st an  t er r o ri st  movement.

Maybe, but what you don't understand is that the problem is not who is supporting D.L in foreign country, but that the tibetan (in Ti-bet or in other countries) see the DL as their spiritual leader ...

How many T b  did you talk to?  Just monks or ordinary people? If you'd talked to ordinary people - and they are the majority - the outcome would have been different. They don't want to be serfs again, they don't want to live in a society where only 5% of the population have the privilege to attend school, they don't want to face a situation again where medical service was non existant and where all the land was owned by unhuman landlords and monks. Just think about it.

Would you support such a system in France as well? Do you really believe that this is what people should have? Maybe you should organize a new movement to reestablish the Kingdom of France as it was under Louis XIV.

And does any sensible, educated person seriously believe that the DL would institute those practices if he were to regain power in Tbt ?

Then tell me why he doesn't answer any questions about what his understanding of au t on omy  is?  His answer is always an evil grin and then he changes the subject. These are facts.
