pinoy,

Are you some sort of masochist who loves to be bashed and suffer pain ?  Why do you keep putting your head into the grinder ?  Boring has no facts to speak of . He has never allowed facts to get in the way of a good solid rant against China . He is claiming that the DL has extenuating circumstances not to offer prayers and sympathy to the quake victims and even more creative scheme for   not donating money or material to help fellow human beings in trouble . What do you expect me to do ? Hold his hands and pat them ? I am cool alright . How about you ?

There are a lot of things he can do, say, a pray for the dead, a good wish, or collecting money for the need. ...

Well, funnily enough, he is calling for Tbtns all over the world to rally around for the victims of this tragedy.

www(dot)abc(dot)net(dot)au/news/stories/2008/05/21/2251849(dot)htm
In a statement issued in the northern Indian town of Dhrmsla, the go-vern-m-ent in ex-ile said Tbtns should cease staging dem-onstra-tions in front of Ch-inese emb-ass-ies, and instead write letters of solidarity to earthquake victims.

"In order to express our solidarity with the great natural disaster that befell on Chi-na, Tbtns across the world should shun staging demo-nst-rat-ions in front of C-hin-e-se embassies in the respective host countries they live in," spokesman Thu-b-ten Sa-mp-hel said.

The statement says p-rot-es-ts should be put off "at least until about the end of May," and also urged Tbtns to "write a letter, or send messages to the concerned, that they are doing so in so-lida-rity with the quake victims".

"Since it is very important for Tbtn exiles, or Tbtns living in the free world, also to join in this (relief) effort, we should initiate sol-ida-rity actions by organising p-ra-yer meetings and raising donations."

Of course the usual suspects, showing all the bad grace for which they are renowned, will simply dismiss this show of sympathy and support.

Sichuan province has a good population of Tbts as well . This offering by emu is truely underwhelming. The main offer seems to be " we will stop protesting for two weeks " . Bully for him . The Chinese government is meantime spending the same money and efforts in saving the Tbts as well as the rest . This is mealy mouthing at its best . And where is the man himself ? Why can't he find time in his busy schedule globe trotting to say something nice to the earthquake victims ?  Blah . And emu falls for this three card trick again .  Mate , watch it !

A perfect description of your response to the DL's comments.

I guess it doesn't matter what he says or does, petty, spiteful bigots like you just won't be satisfied.
