I try not to rush things but inevitably some do get rushed.
Like food. I don't linger over it but I prefer to just get it down my neck.
But it is important to linger over many things, to abso ...
Very true...I wonder if people in China and North America are living a similar rushy life style?...I know many Canadians having more than one jobs...kids having too many sport activities...parents are rushing from one event to the next...living becomes a nightmare!

in NYC, we tend to talk, walk fast than any cities folks in america...and my other silly thing is that i am always in NEED for speed & therefore the way i drive is like a maniac on the road &am ...
You also have a fast car.
Driving on a fast lane...having a fast conversation...time is the big factor...not enough time for everything that needs to get done on time.
NYC has a fast pace of life for sure...some people also enjoy being fast...some highly intelligent people also tend to think fast and talk fast...it is a fast culture (in America)...many people would like to slow it down.
Canadians (statistically speaking) are much slowly than Americans even in big cities like Toronto, Ottawa, etc...at least that how the Americans perceive us...we are good and lazy (hopefully not dumb) people! :)

I am a slow person. So, I am not always in a hurry.
My previous job made me a hasty person because I was in marketing. I think fast, act fast, walk fast, and ate fast or never ate during lunch.
Most people are adjustable to environmental demands ...I can mutitask at a lightening speed and get things done within the the projected schedule or lay back and enjoy the down time...both life styles have their pros and cons...but I enjoy variety in life!
One thing...I would never hurry up...and that would be my 3 meals...when I eat...absolutely no one can disturb me...and that would be my absolute down times! :)
