Prince Harry coverage criticised as 'propaganda'

The British media has once again deceived the British public by keeping this news from them!

It proves that the British media was colluding with the British government.

We knew this anyway!

The British are absolutely desperate to have a hero!

Not only that, the biased British media are even saying that the guy was a hero!

Why?

Because he was playing video games where he was directing bombs against underground bunkers far away from any fighting.

As soon as the news came out in another country they quickly removed him from Afghanistan.

Next, the British papers will probably tell us that the Ginger freak was winning the war in Afghanistan.

We All Need A Hero.

GTH ,

Naughty boy , don't you recognize a hero when you see one ?  Prince charming , armed to the teeth and out their in the desert sands in Afghanistan , leading his men into battle , against the most vicious and venomous of men . Crusader and Lawrence of Afghanistan rolled into one.  Modesty , modesty , when touted as a hero , he played coy and shy and denied any bravery : " just one of the boys " !!

So there GTH . Be charitable now . What else do they have nowadays to cheer that British Lion spirit up with ? Pint of beer and some curry and chips ?  Be a sport and let them have a hero , it is at least a little consolation when they think fondly of the glory days of  Britannia Rules the Waves . Leave them to gloat . Cheers.

OK.

So when we saw him kicking that ball around, he was kicking it like Roy of the Rovers, a real hero.

When they filmed his every movement as he was going through customs to pick up his bag, it was just the way a hero would have done it.

etc.

I see now what a real hero is. It is one where the Anglo newspapers deliberately kept the news of him in Afghanistan from their public.

Ahh the desperate and dull have to invent an issue to attack one of their favourite targets, perfidious Albion.

It's quite clear that the hush hush deployment of Harry was to avoid his being a "trophy target" of the terrorists, which would also put his colleagues in extra danger.
By his anonymity he faced the same dangers as any other soldier holding a similar role in the Afghanistan mission.
Harry himself disclaimed the "hero" tags of some in the media, instead saying that those injured soldiers who were on the same plane as he, returning to England, better deserved that label.

Compare Harry's willingness to go to Afghanistan, with the military service faced by similar people in some other countries.
What role do the children of China's lead-ership hold in the PLA ?

'The British media has once again deceived the British public by keeping this news from them!

Well in this case yeah. Considering when Harry was due to be posted to Iraq the news was soon common knowledge, the red-headed one was singled out as a major target and therefore the soliders he commanded were also likely to become a bigger target for the enemy. The Ministry of Defence and top Army brass felt they couldn't counternance that risk to others and pulled him out of Afghanistan. Shame really.

The issue of the Royal Family is a weird one in Britain. The media seem to bang on about them most, veering from reporting salicious gossip to embarrasing, fawning and sycopahntic coverage as in the public interest . Most people in Britain aren't really that fussed either way by them, neither Royalists nor Republicans.

The British media also have a habit of calling lots of people a 'hero' (As well as labelling lots of other people with suitably ill-deserved monikers - they're in the business of selling papers after all and hype, hype, hype sells) and Harry - who most people here feel quite sorry for. He is a solider after all and as such should be allowed to serve on the frontline, otherwise what is the point of being in the Army - has disowned this moniker himself and pointed to the two injured personnel that travelled back with him as the heroes.
