Poor little child!

What a pitiful country America has become.
All of these senseless killings especially of helpless children.
The USA is the #1 country where the most children and kids are killed.

The cops said the man said that child had demons!
Just like the Yates mother in Houston that drowned her five kids in the bathtub who said "god made her do it".
There are so many extremely "religious" people drowning babies, hitting them with rocks, beating them up on the side of the road.

Where did all this evil come from?

Police: Officer Kills Man Who Beat Child To Death
The two sides of America: the trigger happy cop and the sadistic wacko.
So you believe the "cop" was wrong for shooting the man while he was stomping the child to death?

I am not one that promotes violence, but in this case the only unfortunate aspect of this story (besides the death of the child)..... is that the helicopter did not arrive sooner.

If multiple groups of people tried to restrain the man and were unable to, it is possible he was under the influence of some narcotic.
------------------
Probably a bad choice of story to quote, if it is the thread's intent to direct opinion of U.S. police.

Are you trying to tell me that a couple of men couldn't have subdued him?

And I was not making a judgement of the cop's decision to blow the man away.
It just showed how broken society is for decisions like these to be made!

Actually I have seen video of a man on PCP, who threw full grown men around as if they were rag dolls. It actually took eight police officers (not small men) to restrain him..... so yes, a couple of men might not be enough to restrain someone on certain narcotics. I'm not sure if this man was on drugs though; people suffering psychotic episodes can also exhibit incredible strength.

Facing down an enraged  280 lb. man, suffering a psychotic episode, is an incredibly frightening experience.... regardless of ones training. These men might make the "Beserker" of old look like teddy bears .
---
As this was a helicopter officer, he might not have had access to some of the non-lethal items a patrol officer might have. They aren't usually involved in an arrest beyond search and follow. When he saw the man killing the child, he probably decided that he had to land and do anything he could to stop him.

If they are not blasting people away, they like using Tasers!

Sammy Baker - Quitman, Georgia
Veteran Sammy Baker, 59, was Tased by an officer outside a convenience store in Quitman, Georgia, causing him to fall to the ground. The fall caused Baker to dislocate and fracture his spinal cord and ended in his death.

Jarrel Gray - Frederick, Maryland
Police responded to a fight between four people in an apartment complex in Frederick, Maryland. Gray, 20, was Tased and fell unconscious. He was taken to the hospital were he was pronounced dead.

Christian Allen - Jacksonville, Florida
Allen was pulled over by police for playing music too loud in his truck. Allen reportedly shoved an officer before he and his passenger ran away. He was Tased after a struggle with the officers. He went into cardiac arrest and died.

Jesse Saenz - Albuquerque, New Mexico
Police say 20-year-old Jesse Saenz struggled with officers and that they had no choice but to Tase him. They say they Tased him only once. However, a witness says there was no struggle and that the police Tased Saenz for about five minutes. Saenz was transported to the county detention center where he died.

Unidentifed Man - Jacksonville, Florida
A man whose identity has not been released fled the scene of a car crash and tried to break into a nearby home. The man reportedly fought with the officer and tried to bite him. The officer Tased him three times. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

All of these and many more in the space of a few months!

Missouri Police taser injured boy 19 times

David Edwards and Diane Sweet
Published: Saturday July 26, 2008

KY 3 News' Sara Sheffield reports on an injured teen from Ozark, Missouri who was tasered up to 19 times by police.

Passing motorists called Ozark police out of concern for the teen as he walked along the busy overpass. When the police arrived, the young man was lying on the shoulder of the highway directly underneath the 30 foot high overpass with a broken back and foot.

Doctors believe 16-year-old Mace Hutchinson broke his back and heel after falling, as his injuries are consistent with such a fall. The boy's family does not understand why police would have tasered the the teen 19 times after he was so seriously injured.

The teen's father said that the use of the taser caused Mace to develop an elevated white blood cell count, leading to a fever that delayed the young man's otherwise immediate surgery by two days.

Ozark Police Capt. Thomas Rousset attempted to explain why the taser was used:

"He refused to comply with the officers and so the officers had to deploy their Tasers in order to subdue him. He is making incoherent statements; he's also making statements such as, 'Shoot cops, kill cops,' things like that. So there was cause for concern to the officers."

Ozark police say that while there remains unanswered questions in the case, the reason for the use of the Taser is not one of them.
