Translation of CV for Job Applications [Copy link] 中文

I came across a request in the public forum of Shenzhen Windows to translate a paragraph in a resume into English.

I hate to say this is really redundant and useless. Please read my response in Chinese if you want to find out why I said so.

我作为管理培训生进入长沙分公司,近一年时间里,我得到了很大的锻炼,不仅负责传统渠道的销售工作,还参与策划了佳得乐的上市,在百事使我养成了良好的工作习惯,同时还将大学里学到的理论知识同实际工作相结合,极大的加深了自己对管理和营销理念的理解,现在,我带着憧憬来到深圳,在这藏龙卧虎的地方,我的条件不是最好的,但我肯吃苦,愿意接受磨练与考验,系统的学习也使我有着好的学习能力,我相信自己会比他人更快的熟悉开展业务和工作.

我觉得很讽刺,看你英译履历介绍的人英文也未必滕任,能看懂你找人代译的东西,看你能找到多专业有水准的人帮你去译。

我总觉得国内办事的人要理性点。就全用中文吧。如果机构是外国人审批应聘者,那机构内部的人可以代劳。应聘者,十常八九是找人代译的,看不到其本身的外语素质。要考核他们这方面,可另行处理。

我这样说,是因为看过太多三不像的英译履历和曾经受过太多朋友的请求帮助。我一一拒绝,因为没意思的,加上我不轻易免费提供这类翻译服务,这东西要用脑汁的,要专注的,不要无谓地浪费我的精力。

像大学生的毕业论文,硕要加插英文译本。那些东西,大部份都是译得不论不类的。有很多东西太中国化,没必要硬要提供英文本。那来这种有翻译水平的人去译,又那来有这麽多够水准的阅检人能明白英文是说甚麽的,是硕浪费学子的精力,做没有意义的事。

I think if you would like to give a hand, please kindly help the guy out. If don't, please just keep silent.  It's not necessary to let him /her down. It's not his / her fault, is it? I suppose you won't never know how hard it is to land a job for a newbit?
