不必把自己局限于什么固定的动词或短语。

例如，最短的是：Shugang Road is the shortest route from the development zone to Sanba (March 8?) Square.

highway freeway expressway

I suggest you look those words in the dictionary. highway means main road, and freeway is a major road that has been speically built for fast travel over long distances. In Britain use motoway.
也就是说，高速公路不应该用highway.

right, it should be expressway/ motorway/autobahn/, not highway.

I think "highway" is ok. It's not a specific term. "motorway" is a kind of "highway". Maybe it's "superhighway"

I think these terms have a transcontinental difference.
