you didn't know it's rude to make sarcastic statements like that?

of all people, i'd expect a person with the username "socrateets" would easily distinguish sarcasm and humor?

:)

well, i can tell you how my father proposed... in a book store hahaha

during the first year my parents were dating which was 1967, my father kept a "love journal" on his own for a whole year

writing at least 2 pages every day, sometimes more (what a nerd) ha!

anyhow, the journal included sweet AND bitter thoughts about my mother, poems, drawings, stuff about places they went together, you know the usual corny stuff

so after writing for a whole year and with over a dozen of notebooks, decided to have it published into a hardcopy book with a help from a close friend thats in the publishing business

my dad had it all planned out

make arrangements with the book store owner to display the book titled "Knock Knock, Who is it? It's You."

there was even a small leather pouch on the front cover where the ring was carefully placed.

close friends were all invited to witness the event. waiting for the moment to come out at the right moment

the rest is history when my mother picks up a rather funny looking book from the new arrivals section with my father and about 10 people standing behind her...

smiling

Respect!

I like that, it is romantic and has style

"We know it's weakness, but the weakness is so strong!"
