Unemployment is a pain in the ass for every conutry, both developed and developing ones. Here in China, as there are more and more college students graduating year on year, the unemployment rate is generally high among those higer sector of job markets. Guess many of us have witnessed the awful scene of job market, with several hundreds or even more candidates competing for just one vacancy.
The content of our eduaction system need to be adjusted, we need more skilled blue collar worker rather than college students, so we need develop vocational eduaction to assuage the situation. As for lower profile jobs, I think situation is relatively better than other kind of jobs.

year by year, we call for education reform, but we haven't seen effective measure, admission expansion can't solve this problem radically, it brings more graduates who have no professional skill and can't find a job. our government should encourage more students to be skilled blue collar that our seciaty lacks.

The other very serious issue is the fact that Chinese workers change jobs too frequently. It is simply not worth the investment in training just to loose it all in one year.
Much of the salary increases have been a vain attempt at trying to keep those trained employees longer.

If one day the foreign-funded corporates can treat chinese emploees as their own countrys',this problem will  desappear eventually.

Everything depend on your attitude. Never think you are a high university graduate, but a unemployee. If you can change your mindset, there are so many jobs for you.

I agree with the education reform 100%. However, university students should also take the blame. Many are just wasting their time complaining of their teachers incompetence and in the mean time playing around in the best time of their life. I believe most teachers can teach you something in that class, though not as much as they should, so gear up to learn something and be more responsible for one's own life.

Education is an essential part in landing you a good job, i still believe. As many said, teach you how to fish and you will have fish to eat all of your life.
