7.讲究以礼待人。衣着整洁得体,不在公共场所袒胸赤膊;礼让老幼病残,礼让女士;不讲粗话。 7. Show courtesy to others. Be dressed appropriately. Don’t go barebacked in public places. Be considerate towards the aged, the infirm, the sick and the disabled and give priority to them. Be chivalrous to the female by following the rule "lady first”. Never use vulgar language.

衣着整洁得体,不在公共场所袒胸赤膊---> i think "be dressed appropriately" is ok. no need to add "don't go barebacked in public places". "be dressed appropriately" already indicates that one should be dressed properly for any circumstance.

and give priority to them--->redundant

by following the rule "lady first"--->redundant

尊老爱幼,助人为乐;女士优先,礼貌谦让。 Respect senior citizens and care for children. And be ready to help others in need. To the female practice “lady first”; to others follow the rule “after you, please”.

to the female practice "lady first"; to others follow the rule "after you, please"----> sounds Chinglish. "礼貌谦让" should be to all, why we should follow the rule "after you, please" only to others?

Well, I wonder if it is necessary to have an English version in the first place since the rules are only for Chinese citizens to learn by heart.

yes, i agree with you. but perhaps it's a good way to show our improvement in
good manners and public awareness to foreigners.

"guide" or "guidelines", but not "guides".
