Easy come, easy go.
I lost £500 in a card game last night, but that's life - easy come, easy go.

Hi, Natureforest:

I think "easy come, easy go" is ok in your context. It can referes to the loss of easy money, or windfall, but is unsuitable when the money is  earned with efforts. So I think it means "易得易失"

Best wishes.
