X'mas gift to you, Poetry Lovers

I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean rows will I have there, a hive for the honey bee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet's wings.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements gray,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.

Then there's this by William Shakespeare, from "King Richard II":

This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,--
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.

Great minds sound alike!

Hi Seclusive,

Thanks for your attention  and i am very happy to meet you such a congenial frind. Especially in the speedy

commercialization of motherland, poor poets hardly find their own social status in motherland.

According to your personal fefination of poetry, you have touched the brim of truth , tasted out the sweet

in enjoying a poem, so to speak.

Now, i am working abroad in Africa, to my surpirse, i found some african friends can enjoy some old Chinese poems. To tell u the truth, i have been touched so much. Because i loved Poems and literature, the changing world is changing my favor. However, i am fortunate enough, i met some frinds, and they remembered me of my favor.

As a first self-introduction, i would like to end this SMS by the invocation of an unknow poem, hoping you will
be happy to read it:

All night I have slept with you

next to the sea, on the island.

Wild and sweet you were between pleasure and sleep,

between fire and water.

Perhaps very late

our dreams joined

at the top or at the bottom,

up above like branches moved by a common wind,

down below like red roots that touch.

Thanks very much for the moutain song

Hi, there

Great thanks be given to you, anyhow, it is very difficult to get the lyric though i have

tryied in the google for many times.

Anyhow, i will try to ask for help from other friends, hoping in the future i can meet someone in Africa who knows the meaning of this music.

By the way, sometime, for a nice muisc, the lyric is not so important , for me, the melody is enough . As you

said, music is the incentive for me to create some new idea in poem writing or esay alike.

Next time, let me share with you some of  my resent works.

YES, my qq is 710958268, i would like to chat with you more if it is convient to you.

Regards,

only part of the essay to share with you because of this is a public bbs

Hi, Seclusiv

Only part of the esay to share with you , hoping you can understand.

Nevertheless, when winter comes, the sun, suddenly, becoming apathetic, distant and weak, looks like a serious and handsome mankind, shutting his pan. But it is powerful. From the far-reaching upper air, the sun opens wide its radiance, firmly penetrates the icy-cold atmosphere, then sharply shears up the heavy cloud, finally, shines over everything on earth superciliously. The sky is pretty blue and clear. It is so solid that it looks like a huge piece of cobalt blue steel which will ring when knocked. The ridges and peaks around the outskirts of this city and the deciduous arbors are all in your sight, which are easy to distinguish. Light dark branches stretch out staunchly, which, to some extent, reflect the calmness and sternness of this reason. Nevertheless, the sun is a blessing to us because it always expels the shade in cold winter. In this way, it is by no means apathetic. Then what is it?Sample Text

HOW DO YOU TREAT YOUR SPARE TIME?

Hi , Seclusiv

From the message you left in this section, i can easily imagine your wide knowledge and assiduous practice.

Reading more and pratice more is essential to a Language learner (even linguistic, so to speak)

Based on your own experience, how do you treat your spare time? And what do you do for your living and

entertainment if it does not bring some unconvience to you.

As regard to translation and interpretation, which one do you prefer or are good at?

Last but not least, reading your translation in your thread, i benefit a lot. Here, i sincerely thank you very much.
