No! Noway!
Some people like the so-called arranged marriage, in some rural areas parents even buy wives for their sons, but that is very rare now.
A lot of young people prefer free choice.
It is ...

In our days an arranged married? My God it is ridiculous.I can sign you one hundred percent sure that one day you will meet the true love and then you will be at a loss.
You are a handsome young boy.Why so much rush? You said that your heart belongs to somewhere else. Then why you do not wait for this love to see?
I really    love China,半个 中国 人

that young man's been so busy negotiating with his parents all those years that he's got no time to date any girls...!  what is left for him to do is to date the potential spouse his parents pick out for him...!  this is how an arranged marriage comes into being...!

This led to me think of a couple from Pakistan in my hometown.  They were married 4 years ago.  When the man was ready to marry, he asked his parents to find him a bride.  His parents found a young woman in Pakistan they thought would be a good match.  The first time he met her was on their wedding day!!  They have been married ever since.  Are they in love?  I don't know.  But they seem to like each other.
It reminds me a Palestinian girl told me something before.
She told me she was going to get married , and she never met her groom till the wedding day. Her parents found the man for her,she just saw his picture and felt he is fine.

I was suprised how come this marriage be true? And how did she know whether the man loved her or not.She said maybe she would be happy.

I told her if I were her , I would not marry the man who I even didn't see him in person before marriage.   "Every girl  in her place does as  that " answered she.

In fact, my parents are introduced by my father's sister..........
I asked my mum did she have someone she loved when she was young,
she said, yes, there were two men who looked nice. And now both of them live well .
One was doctor, another worked in the amy.
Because both of them  lived far away from my mother's hometown,my grandma didn't want my mum marry too far waay . So, she chose my father.

I dislike this kinda arrange marriage, I tell myself , I would not and never be arranged marriage.
But if when I come to 27, I still have not found the right one to marry , will I accept the arrange marriage???
I don't know.  But I don't want  to..................

We love our home, though our feet can leave it,yet our hearts can't.

Love is in the air...I am so happy to feel it's presence!

I have no strong opinion on "arranged" or "free" marriage. Personally, I chose my wife and it has been wonderful. I am very sentimental about Love. Love keeps the world turning. So anything that contains true love would definitely touch my heart. You know for sure my tears are for true love. Mine are happy tears. I have an excerpt from "feddler on the roof"....Funny but touching in a way. I hope people find it enjoyable.

Artist: Lyrics
Song: Matchmaker Lyrics
Hodel:
Well, somebody has to arrange the matches,
Young people can't decide these things themselves.

Chava:
She might bring someone wonderful----

Hodel:
Someone interesting----

Chava:
And well off----

Hodel:
And important---

Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
Make me a match,
Find me a find,
catch me a catch
Matchmaker, Matchmaker
Look through your book,
And make me a perfect match

Chava:
Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
I'll bring the veil,
You bring the groom,
Slender and pale.
Bring me a ring for I'm longing to be,
The envy of all I see.

Hodel:
For Papa,
Make him a scholar.

Chava:
For mama,
Make him rich as a king.

Chava and Hodel:
For me, well,
I wouldn't holler
If he were as handsome as anything.

Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
Make me a match,
Find me a find,
Catch me a catch,
Night after night in the dark I'm alone
So find me match,
Of my own.

(spoken)

Tzeitel:
Since when are you in a match, Chava? I thought you had your eye on your books.

(Hodel chuckles)

Tzeitel con't:
And you have your eye on the Rabbi's son.

Hodel:
Well, why not?
We have only one Rabbi and he has only one son.
Why shouldn't I want the best?

Tzeitel:
Because you're a girl from a poor family.
So whatever Yenta brings, you'll take, right?
Of course right!

(throws scarf over her head, imitating Yenta)
(singing)

Hodel, oh Hodel,
Have I made a match for you!
He's handsome, he's young!
Alright, he's 62.
But he's a nice man, a good catch, true?
True.

I promise you'll be happy,
And even if you're not,
There's more to life than that---
Don't ask me what.

Chava, I found him.
Won't you be a lucky bride!
He's handsome, he's tall,
That is from side to side.
But he's a nice man, a good catch, right?
Right.

You heard he has a temper.
He'll beat you every night,
But only when he's sober,
So you'll alright.

Did you think you'd get a prince?
Well I do the best I can.
With no dowry, no money, no family background
Be glad you got a man!

Chava:
Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
You know that I'm
Still very young.
Please, take your time.

Hodel:
Up to this minute,
I misunderstood
That I could get stuck for good.

Chava and Hodel:
Dear Yenta,
See that he's gentle
Remember,
You were also a bride.
It's not that
I'm sentimental

Chava and Hodel and Tzeitel:
It's just that I'm terrified!

Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
Plan me no plans
I'm in no rush
Maybe I've learned
Playing with matches
A girl can get burned
So,
Bring me no ring
Groom me no groom
Find me no find
Catch me no catch
Unless he's a matchless match.

Some arranged marriages can find love, sure. However, it seems to be a rare occurance. Usually the best most can hope for is a strong, friendly partnership.

I have the same view points as her.
We love our home, though our feet can leave it,yet our hearts can't.

Yeah, Why not ?
She is near from you and she is nice, maybe you should not lost the chance.

simply because I am not attracted to her.   I view her as I would my sister.
