I find that supporters and opponents of Bush in the USA are just a balance of 50-50. Some Americans tell me that they strongly support Bush and some strongly oppose him.

not all Americans like Bush, but not all hate him either.

Urhm...and the recent mid-term elections were a thank you card to Bush for his good service?

I think not

The majority of American voters in those elections voted out the Republicans because they dislike GW Bush so much!

my 2 cents

People dislike Bush because they dislike war. Reinstitute draft may solve the problem. Politicians will think
twice if their own kids may be sent to the battlefield.

Americans Don't Like Bush

Americans hate losers more than they hate the enemy.  It matters not what the president does, as long as he does not lose.  If indeed the Iraqi fields are pumping full on and the Yanks are making money today, the Yanks could care less how many the war killed.

Bush will live down in history as the one president most responsible for toppling america from the top, and ending the American century earlier than most thought possible.

I think reinstating the draft might be a good thing.  18 year old boys have to register any way.  Why not make military service, as done in other nations, a mandatory 3 year term for all youth (men and women)?  I think it makes sense.
