So good to read that you understand Chinese custome of Mid-autumn festival.   Yes. you are right. Parents exchange mooncakes while children enjoy the candle light and the colourful and beautiful lanterns......... :)

A moon cake is a kind of cake the Chinese people (maybe also some Asian countries) eat on some special days of the year. These days are called 'Mid-Autumn'
festival.
