So if your best female friend was getting beaten up by her husband and didn't dare report him to the police, you'd let him keep doing it because it's private? Sorry, but privacy ends when others are getting hurt.

Well, why not  report to the police? I think it is a matter of law instead of privacy.

I agree, susansusan, but sometimes women are ashamed to let anyone know that they're being abused and won't go to the authorities. That's when a friend or family member should step in and make the abusive person stop.

Now I want to know which law or regulation can be applicable to domestic violence ,
And let the victim to know ,she can get what kind of help ,if she suffers domestic violence
