Passport crap??
Ah, you are not aware that you need such a document for International travel. With this valid Document you have to apply for a VISA to  enable you to entry a foreign country. You seem to be under the impression that Mainlanders are the citizens of the R O C . Sorry to say your impresions are wrong. No proper documentation, no entry.

Crazyazn, there is no such thing as citizen of PRC or ROC. This is just the name of the government.
However, there is definitely citizen of China, and that is all Chinese in the mainland and Taiwan, and
we don't need compiex passport  and visa to visit our own land.

And sure, if we want to go to Europe, then I will agree with you on going though the international
process, but not Taiwan. Snap out of the propaganda that you are trapped in, Crazyazn.

God blesses all,

Forest Servant.

But you do need a passport and visa to travel between the mainland and Taiwan. I'm not really sure where you're getting your information from.

Mencius, that is what we are trying to get rid off. Taiwan is not Europe, US,..., or Australia. It is China and Chinese people
should have the freedom to roam around anywhere as they please.

Well that's too bad. Taiwan can make its own immigration rules, something that many countries (not just those that officially recognise Taiwan) acknowledge, as Taiwanese passports and visas are valid there, as well as the fact bearers of Taiwanese passports are treated differently from mainlanders (e.g. visa waiver schemes that mainlanders can't take advantage of).

...

yes,  SHOULD

but the fact is
Chinese from Taiwan have the freedom to roam around
China should work harder to treat their citizen equal, fair and respect
