No one should be napping on company time...if found, such behaviors are subjected to disciplinary action...In some severe cases...such repeated misconducts may lead to termination of employment (in some Canadian government establishments).

I agree with the manager...no one should be sleeping on their job.

By the way, you might find the following information refreshing, I know for a fact that some places (in my city) hire people to sleep over. Yes, you have heard it right...people get paid for a "sleeping" job. Hey, I am not pulling your leg.

Yes. Many companies only have one hour's break for lunch and rest at noon.  Once it is a rule,  you should abide it for sure. When you get used to it, there is no problem at all. You can have more rest in the evening.  More and more ppl hace changed the habbit of taking nap because of their work.

Yeah!
If there is a bulk of work for you, I don't  think you wanna have a nap at all.

I do not oppose....

I do not oppose napping on your own time. So, if you have an hour lunch time ( I assume that's your own time), I guess you can decide how to spend your 60 minutes without stepping on anyone toes?!

Still, I don't think the manager would like to see anyone napping within the company's premise.

In Japan, I believe they have the cion-operated nap booth placed on busy side walks. One can crawl into a tube-like and sound-proof structure, insert a few coins, and way you go to your dreamland.

Hey, this is a good business idea and it will work  in China! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
