no, i don't think so!

aquitaine, you are wrong.

I have been to rural villages in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guangdong, Hubei, and also to rural regions in Virginia and Florida,  not a big difference exist between them, as I have witnessed.  only, that Chinese rural villages have more houses, more people, and their landscape changing fast.

But, we admit there remain vast pockets of poverty in China's western, outlying, and moutain-locked rural areas, as China's modernization begins with the eastern Coastal provinces, and the cities. the spill-over to the Western hinterland is much slower.  What the central government needs to offer their help, say, give them tax break and more preferential policies, to encourage industrial investment there
