A question to mdoinit

Re: your version
"Worry before it gets to others, enjoy after others have it."

Apparently your "worry" was meant to be a verb, like "enjoy". Then could you explain what your "it" stands for when you said "before IT gets to others/ after others have IT"?

I am glad I found the right place to post!

I take your point TUMUJEROME.

I am no great grammarian as I am vaguely aware that folks in mainland usually spend a lot of time learning grammar as most teachers can do no better than that.  English is not being put into practical use but theories and principles are toyed about.

The "it" here does not relate back to the verb in the sense of matching the grammar rules.  "It" is to denote what that "worries" the whole world and all that the whole world "enjoys".

Let me try this again:-

"A holyman worries before it gets to others; he enjoys himself after others have had it."

I will by no means be irritated, I mean.

Just a few points nitpicked:

I am new here but I am not a new comer to forums.

I appreciate the sharp eyes of TUMUJEROME.  You are good editor material.  Thanks for straightening it up.

In the name of correctness and precision, it is well done.

Good to see your posts here, Martin (mdoinit).

I am the 'close friend' Martin mentioned in his post.

I hold the position of a moderator in several English forums.
I know only too well how hard it is to keep the conversation
going. Therefore I am impressed with tumujerome and
laoxianggg's suggestions and commentaries. Well done!

Back to the Blogger's case, there's one point I find particularly ambiguous.

Fortunately, the environment of my office is not bad at all - a lot of space for everyone working there. It is no a problem for someone to stretch a bit to improve body resistance.
Comment: Here the blogger is talking about her own office/work area – she has a lot of private space and can do a bit of stretching exercise in her own area.

Is the Blogger sharing the office with his/her colleagues or
rather s/he enjoys a private room?

Catch up with you later!
Steven (Yes, It is indeed encouraging that there are people
who took the trouble to look into them point by point. Bravo!)

Fortunately enough, my office's working conditions are quite good by providing quite large indivisual private space that I can easily  do some streching excersies to improve my resistance against any disease.
