Thanks, A-Simba

Agree, love is blind. when guys are wide awake, they must have been in marriage
或者升的更高,或者彻底堕落;
或者成就自己,或者毁掉自己。

Boke

From the laughters (and the smiles as Simba did) that you have got, i guess you have sensed that the robot now is still in his long-term BETA.

Anyway, robot can do pretty well in the simple sentences as [Subject + verb (+ Object)].

Even for those simply sentences, if you don't teach your robot the way of thinking that the distination language's speakers hold, it won't do.

Let's see:

--昨天你没有休息? (didn't you have/take a rest yesterday?)
-- Robot: "Yesterday you did not have the rest?"  {although it is not so grammatical correct, but it makes sense}

-- 是的。我昨天没有休息。(No. I didn't have/take any rest yesterday.)
-- Robot: "YES.  I yesterday did NOT have the rest.” {instead of  "NO. I did NOT have/take any rest yesterday"}

You see, Boke, robot doesn't know how Chinese ppl use YES or NO! (hehe, but Swahili speakers know what Chinese are talking, which is another topic.)

Nice theme, nice threads, Nice Boke!   But, a robot is a robot, just a robot...

Clarifying Exercise

CLARIFYING EXERCISE

Compose a line of English Iambic p e n t a m e t e r
which will machine translate to Chinese and back to English
without any change in the original.

NOTE: Use Google language tools if you can ...

Robot smiles. She knows they cannot do it. Only Robot can.

Thank you, Simba!

:) Robot and I did not see your message until now.

Your feedback notes are exactly what we were looking for ... :)

We will now think diligently about what you have just said ...

About Yes and No

Try to tell your robot:

When it is doing  Y/N question, judge the FACT whether is Ture or Fals

--你没有休息吗?(didn't you have a rest? --forget whatever robot's translation is )
-- _。 我没有休息。(_. I did not take a rest.)

Note: although the fact forms a nenegative statement in gramma, but it is a TURE fact (that i did not take a rest) .  then
-- tell robot: If the act is Ture, he should reply "是的 “.是的for a Ture Fact (that repeats the question).

That's way I guided my student in the class.

Oh, I miss the class...miss the boys and girls...

You are a wise and good teacher! Unfortunately
Robot is a bad student.

:) BOKE, of course, is trying to remain ignorant, of course
so he can become wiser.

This kind of ignorance is very hard work!

Of course, I know a good teacher like Simba
will completely understand BOKE's strange reply.
Robot told me so.
