Hello all,

I guess some of you will also meet below situation:

A 3-year-old child( or a little baby) often be ragged by other children, (same ages),by no meaning, just those children are stonger or naughty.
How will you comfort/ encourage him?

1. tell him don't play with those children anymore?
2. tell him to fight back and beat others same as them?
3. tell him escape when others want to beat him?

It's really a very tough conversation since i think my words will impact the little one's character and i don't want to lead him to a wrong direction...
So i don't know how to say when little baby tell me this...

Any suggestion if you were me?

Thank you!

Thanks cenilla for your feasible suggestion!

some time, those baby's parents are nearby, they don't care their kid to hit other kids but do care if their kid be baited. Unfortunately they are my colleagues, so i'm embarrassed...

as to my opinion, it's simple,  just tell him to fight back , this is how i

teach my daughter.   i think kids' ability to shoulder things are stronger

than we adults have expected.  pls don't always take young kids as a

flower growing in glass-room,  they are one growing in a complicated

society, you should train them to have the ability to protect themselves,

but not solving every problem for them.   "an eye for an eye and a tooth

for a tooth " is a very simple but useful truth, try to make ur boy

understand. once he fight back , then others  will know he is not the one

that they can step on! trust me!

Sorry to hear

As parent, you feel sorry about the situation of your child, which I have synpathy of you.
Can your little child form a friendship with the "bullyies"? Or can you help him or her to do that?
By the way, is the situation really that serious?(Don't be annoyed by my question if so.)

To ghighh

Thanks for your question indeed.

Since my baby is a bit smaller / lower than other children so some time that is unavoidable... i had told his teacher about this, it works but in other place, others unknown kids doing the same thing...

i do think this is a common situation so i would like to find a way to teach him how to avoid to be hurt both in body & in soul.

it's serious since children will follow their parent's guidance forever and it will become her/ his life rule and impact on their character...

Do you think so or any comments?
