Wonder if Joshua Wong knew how to speak to White Helmets boss Raed Al Saleh!
Hopefully, instead of seeking assistance and getting funds from Raed Al Saleh; Joshua Wong did not donate all the funds from his party for operational cost of White Helmets.
Joshua Wong is grateful to Raed Al Saleh for allowing him to be back home again.
Presume during the meeting, Wong could not understand that level of contents transpired. Or Wong must have changed his diapers several times more than when he was on his way to the meeting!

"...the Mainlanders, unlike their HK compatriots, are more practical, they are less ideology inclined and more money making inclined, make plenty of money which their system affords them"

I agree with part of this: if you watch the HK evening news you are almost guaranteed to see a report on the stock exchange as the first part of the program: obviously money is god there just as you say about mainland people. However, as HK people live under a separate social, political and economic system - and have done so for a long period of time - they seek to maintain the principles of this system and most especially the freedoms that this allows. Mainland people have been struggling to survive up to around 40 years ago when the "open door" policy allowed China to begin international trade and for ordinary people to involve themselves in business: becoming rich was not regarded as an offence as it was under the previous ideology.

"These people from the mainland you are referring to may also have been influenced by blind pursuit of western "democracy, freedom and human rights" "

I don't believe that most mainland people want such western, democratic ideals. Rather they want more to survive and to provide for their own families, put food on the table with virtually no interest in any form of politics. Their masters in Beijing can involve themselves with all of the political and governmental machinations that they want; most of the population live far, far away and are happy to mind their own business without any external interference.

"Constant surveillance apply to people who are out to create trouble for the country, not to normal people."
How can such surveillance discriminate between those folk who intend to cause trouble and those who don't ? Big brother is overlooking everyone so everyone feels intimidated by this.

Chinese treat leaders with respect. That does not mean they are treated like "masters" as the western media and governments see it. People, governments, and media such as you do not like the Chinese government just because of the "communist" label. So you are all out to denigrate and ridicule such a government because of your prejudice and hatred. People like you will always insist that your western model is "supreme" and irrefutable. You support the Hong Kong pro-democracy mobsters just because they fight for western "democracy, freedom and human rights" regardless of the harm and damage they are causing. You people are willing to create chaos, anarchy, havoc, mayhem and even decimate a whole nation in doing so. You people do not stand for democracy but for a selfish agenda of lording over others and keeping others as underlings. Unfortunately, there are people who are trapped and are blind followers like the pro-democracy mobsters in Hong Kong.

How can such surveillance discriminate between those folk who intend to cause trouble and those who don't ? Big brother is overlooking everyone so everyone feels intimidated by this.

Do you live in China? Where do you get this idea from? Stop looking at China with your bias and prejudice.

Joshua Wong has problems speaking properly. His eyes are always wondering. It is a clear sign that his brain is less suitable to retain information let alone to lead Hong Kong demonstrators. He must be a puppet!
