Believe it or not, it's true.

Unfortunately, it is now too late for BJ to save face by sending in the troops now. It's too late.
All face and respect for BJ have but vanished.
It is best to let Hong Kong die the agony death.
Thank you Beijing.

I hope you have learn the lesson of timely intervention.
You have much to learn balancing the act of FACE with real politics in the global sphere dimension.

Got to agree with you there.  If the chaos were nipped at the early stage they would not have ballooned to what we see now.  The ringleaders and troublemakers should have been rounded up early, even if force were needed! The mistake of the HKSar Govt was to use the softly softly approach which turned out to be a failure, encouraging more violence which has run put of control.  Now, short of force, nothing else would work to get life back to  normal again!

"Now, short of force, nothing else would work to get life back to  normal again!"

But BJ may not want to use force as it has huge reputational consequences. In the words of Carrie Lam, China has built up over many years a good reputation, using force now would mean losing all that.  China may have to let the rioters destroy HK, then rebuld it from ground zero!

What a shame, the ringleaders are recruiting minors to do their dirty work. The youngest person known to have been arrested is 12 years old.

Me figure that a large-scale reshuffle of her Cabinet will do the trick...

As long as the police force; the finest in Asia is backed by the leadership, nothing is lost...

Them invincible feeling rioters do so because they been assured that they'll be freed from prison, an university degree overseas and return home like Field Marshal Khalifa Belqasim Haftar a dual Libyan-American citizen and the head of the Libyan National Army...
   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khalifa_Haftar

Take that 'feeling' away and them 'black'clad sheep will be only to happy to return to the family fold and H.K. will be proud to be part of the Middle Kingdom once again...

Drugs are deadly for any Nation, a little history would do wonders getting a better picture of the   Anglo-Chinese Opium war...

In the old days, the body collapsed on the so called opium bed; apparently, the modern version is creating brainless MONSTERS...
