You saw the support brexit party had at the EU elections. The 'smarter ones' as you said, are now  ...

You misinterprete the figures.

Some UK commentators claimed a win for the Remainers in the EU election, and they have a point.
Believe it or not, it's true.

Johnson accused of cowardice

Whirlpool fire story
·       Richard is the victim of a recent house fire involving a repaired and supposedly made-safe tumble dryer.

·       Richard had his Indesit tumble dryer – a brand owned by Whirlpool – modified in 2017 to make it safe as part of the manufacturer’s repair programme.

·       Despite the modification, the ‘made-safe’ dryer caught fire in March 2019, causing significant damage to his home.

·       Richard's partner and her two children were in the house when his repaired Indesit tumble dryer caught fire.

·       His partner was alerted to a problem when the electricity cut-out. Then she smelled burning and saw smoke billowing out of the back of the tumble dryer.

·       As she tried to pull the machine away from the wall, she saw flames shooting out of the back of it. Just a few seconds later the whole dryer was engulfed in flames

·       The fire service were called to deal with the blaze, which caused windows to smash, the floor to melt and the walls to bubble.

·       The family had to abandon their home and stay with friends with three days before commencing the clean-up operation.

·       Following the fire, Whirlpool sent a technician to take photos of the machine. After Whirlpool’s loss adjuster visited the home to assess the fire damage, an engineer removed the dryer so that the manufacturer could inspect it.

·       Richard and his partner were told that the investigation could take around four to six weeks. As we go to press, Richard hadn’t yet been informed of the results of Whirlpool’s investigation.Dryers recalled over safety fears

From computers and cars to carpets and food, Britain's decision to leave the EU is beginning to hit consumers in the pocket, having already spread uncertainty through the property market.  The pound has lost 10 to 15 percent of its value against the euro and the dollar since the June 23 referendum, raising the price of goods primarily supplied by foreign companies such as automobiles, computers, clothing and some foods.  / AFP / PAUL ELLIS        (Photo credit should read PAUL ELLIS/AFP/Getty Images)UK wages growth beats expectations

"EU says new prime minister will not change Brexit talks"
The appointment of a new prime minister in the UK will not be able to change the Brexit deal negotiated by Theresa May, the EU Commission has confirmed.

A spokesperson for the EU’s executive said the leadership race to replace Ms May would “of course not change the parameters of what is on the table”.

The intervention by Brussels comes as Tory leadership candidates pledge various strategies to change or circumvent the withdrawal agreement, which was rejected by parliament three times
