China shouldn't lose its head thumping its chest for ego.|
Very obvious that there are people trying to deny China its technological progress. Also maybe some people don't want Canada to trade more with China because that will reduce Canada's dependency on US.
First, Chinese should use the web to demonstrate their tech savviness to wow the Canadians. Exhibit good human values practiced by the Chinese. Then mesmerise the Canadians with music, comedies and cuisine produced from China, of course need to carry a little Canadian flavour too. The more people want to divide Canada and China, the harder China should Strike Back to pull Canada to its side and the best way to do this is via various emotional channels.
Second this is god gifted opportunity to indirectly, tacitly and softly convince the entire Asia, that US acknowledges China's technology advancement is of quality. Since when US arrest a CFO of a technology company that's far inferior than US? Of course US will engineer a story just like how it invaded Iraq. That's a forgone conclusion - best this is widely said/claimed by Central Asians, Indochinese and Indonesians in their own language.
Third. In terms of copying and spying. US is second to none. So even if China copies, that's what US does and such acts are not exclusive to US only. Then it is important to educate the world on the process of copying. When one copies usually the delivery will be much later - it takes much more time to produce something one did not design. Given that the timing, for example, the 5G embarkment is about the same time, how to copy? Further are Apple and Samsung dumb idiots? No they are smart companies. Smart companies will know how to protect their intellectual assets. Its a dumb US that's cooking the wrong story of China copying. The correct story is everyone copies and protects and its always a question of who is better and faster at breaking the other. US is whining the wrong way and a dumb US cannot possibly be ahead of China technologically that much any more.
Fourth, find a way to accelerate massive trade with Canada. Don't let this spat spoil the China-Canada trade. The more China and Canada trades, the more angry those who engineer the arrest of Huawei's CFO will be and hopeful their blood vessels burst. Besides enhancing China-Canada trade is good for both the Chinese and the Canadians. If US is an honest ally of Canada, it shouldn't stop Canada from prospering. By the way no one is going to war and China will not abandon trade with US even if China-Canada trade flourish massively, so there is no grounds why US should stop Canada. Only one reason, a selfish US that past its prime and can't perform any more but doesn't want Canada and China to rendezvous with one another.
Fifth, make sure Asians, Russians and as many Europeans are on the same page with China. Its not about racial matters. Its about giving the world more opportunity to choose. E.g. Apple, Samsung, Huawei, etc. Its a good publicity opportunity. For example how Huawei CFO creatively showed the bruises suffered behind every success that's often hidden from the reality. This is also part of Chinese cultural teaching from China's old days - tell it to the world. US is the one that always goes for short cut. US may have taken Samsung's 5G knowhow and may now want Huawei's.
