Isn't that a very poor reflection on China's aviation industry?  CAAS should act to rectify this p ...

No, It is NOT.

China’s total air transport fleet will triple from 2015 to 2035 and receive 13% of world aircraft deliveries. But capacity at major Chinese airports is “nearly full,”. No wonder in October the Civil Aviation Administration of China banned airports in Beijing, Shanghai and Xiamen from adding flights while curbing two regional airlines from making new applications (Ref: "China Aviation Daily" Report ).

Thank you!
You are correct about Spring Airlines!
For unknown reasons, it could fly to Japan at RMB1 ...

It has Japanese capital input.

The idea is to attract as many Chinese tourists to visit Japan as possible -- just think of the money they would spend in Japan after saving on the trip fares.

Many inward-bound overseas flights in the off seasons are bargains these days for the same reasons.  Once the tourists reach China they need lodging, food, sightseeing including theme park entrance tickets, shopping and I am sure whatever losses the airlines have incurred due to the discounted fares they can recoup those losses through back channels.

My fear is that with the sudden increase in air traffic, safety is greatly compromised.

Add delayed unmanned flights to the list of prospective issues -- and we are talking about a Brave New World of nightmarish flights.

Thank you for your comments!
Regarding Chinese tourists going to Japan and ended up shopping but for products that were made in China. Worse, Chinese tourists paid more if they bought in China. Unfortunately, Chinese has strange mentality that those sold in Japan is superior!

Your comment shows that you are a smart chap.

You see through their schemes right away.

That's why we had this import show in Shanghai just a little while ago.

We bought their most expensive piece of equipment -- the one that cost more than $100 million -- the very first day in order to attract more top-notch imports to our shows in the future.

That way Chinese tourists won't have to fly to Japan to buy a toilet seat cover.

You're right.

Believe it or not, it's not true.

But he works for CNN, so that's understandable -- fake news, as the Crime Boss himself had commented.
