You have missed my point; they can't speak 'English among themselves', they speak Chinglish among themselves, and that reinforces their Chinglish, with no hope of improving their English!

Only a crooked mind thinks of that!  Most, if not all attendees, want to improve their English!

in the first Chinese city i worked in, when i attended English corners there were a lot of middle-aged guys hitting on the female college students who were there to improve their English.
