Deny them to open manufacturing sites at  China. Not even joint ventures.

This way, the whole  China electric car market belongs to Chinese makers only!

Use national security as the reason like what US always does.

Wonderful idea.

And although China has to technology to launch an electric car into space they have
the common sense not to.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

China has the richest rare earth mines in the world today. A necessary ingredient in manufacturing high efficiency electric motors.
The US doesn't know how they want to obtain rare earth. Stealing it is their latest tactic. Some things never change.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Germany has became more and more anti China recently.
So stopping US, Japan and Germany from opening electric cars makers make sense. Chinese makers already mastered it because electric cars are simpler to make.so no need to joint venture to learn like before

Germany is becoming more and more anti China, so make sense to keep Germany, Japan, US car makers out of electric car sector.  

Electric car is alot simpler to make. China makers already mastered it. They don't need joint venture to learn like gasoline cars.
