China is just not as stupid spending too much on weapons.
"China is just not as stupid spending too much on weapons"
If Kim Il-Sung the 3rd is "ME TARZAN ENOUGH" to thumb his nose at Xi Jin-ping and DJT, and at all of the "WAR MONGERS" in Washington, isn't it idiotic of them to accumilate an inventory more than sufficient to incinerate the USSR 10 times over cold war days and the USSR an inventiry sufficient enough to incinerate America 20 times over? Well of course it is.
Sadly but I'm of the opinion that even the PRC is of no exception to the fact that "survival of the fittest" does hold true and that as a precautionary measure, too, had secretively been stockpiling thousands warheads and delivery systems in the highly speculative but secretive underground great wall which think tanks from George Washington U had specukated the number could be as high as 3500 warheads.
If you consider the threat China faces from without, we have to agree that the hypothesis given by think tanks from George Washington U few years back, and similarly a study by the university of Singpore ten years prior, is not at all that outlandush.
For example: a third of this said stockpile as a deterent against equal threats from the west, a third of this stockpile as a deterent against potential future threats coming from its mighty neighbour to the north who had once threatened her with nukes, and the balance as a deterent against the rest of the world's 2nd. and 3rd, tier nukes today is quite reasonable my opinion.
Yes, I do think that a stockpile of 20,000 warheads as per USSR cold war days and 10 to 15,000 by the Americans is overkill but a thousand warheads (as a deterrent) against major nuclear powers is the minimum, especially where ABM's, THAAD's, and GWB's NMD plays a part.
Yes, overkill is stupid but not being fully prepared is also idiotic...
