Democracy wow, such a big word to use.

Another is human rights.

Just these two words alone, foreign government/s, politicians and those NGO's even UN can paint a country black.

But what is the true value of democracy? Is it one that the west depict that you allow anyone or everyone to have a free reins to do what they like even to an extend of causing a country to be brought down by riots or a coup.

Democracy has but only one core interest and not value. That is how it serve that, and just THAT particular country only. There is no one democracy depicted by the west or even the UN to fit all. Totally, no such thing as one size fits all practice.

Asian has its value and practice and so does the west. We do not expect the west to follow Asian standard of democracy so likewise we don't expect the west to lecture us to follow their ways. You practice yours in your own country and let us do what is beneficial to ours.

Clearly if you wanted to talk about democracy in your country it will be a long and winding road ahead.

You practice whatever deem fit for your country and allow us to do what we think is rightfully our own way.
