Its quite sad when a 5 yr old behaves like that over money!!
i doubt i knew what money was at 5 yrs old
if you want something in life get off your backside, and do it yourself!! don't rely on others to do it for you

I guess most children including me would receive 'yasuiqian' because of their parents cause red pock ...

To some extent, this is definitely good!
However, children must be taught to use their money wisely from young.
Rich children have difficulty in doing so. Spare change is always available and misplace of cash is considered as no need to worry or could not be bothered.
In Beijing, a drink could cost that for food of a family of five in rural China.
Yes, the difference exists and will not be able to change.

Good suggestion. Giving red envelopes to minors only teaches them to worship money!!

Misleading aspect to be explained.
Every culture has traditions that must be eradicated and soon culture will be but empty without soul!

Red pockets are given only once a year. Will that teach children to worship money? Or that those habits that are practised regularly as part of life have greater impact?
One swallow makes a summer - STRANGE!
