Remember as a child we of the TV generation we saw the golden age of television. Watching man walk on the moon, the Vietnam war ( the first televised war).
As a child we had only two TV stations BTV6 and the ABC, out of these came the best TV a child could want from Mr Squiggle to Aunty Jack.
The programs were chunky and amateurish all programs were Australian and British very little American except for cartoons, HR Puffin Stuff and Adam West's Batman.
The British programs Doctor Who, Danger Mouse, Count Duckular, Trap Door to name a few how could I forget The Goodies.
All telecasting was in Black and White till 1973 (in Australia) when colour was first broadcasted. The Australian government used the comedy program The Aunty Jack Show to introduce colour television to Australian audiences.
What TV programs  do you remember as a child?
