Were you asking: "Migrants like myself - from Britain"???
Migrants can mean anything, in my current apartment area 35% of the residents are Japanese, I am the only European but around 80% are not people who originate from Shanghai, we have no problems with the lifts, my wife originates from Shandong and she certainly does not pee in the lift.

First line of the OP : "(Shanghaiist) Russian media has recently published outraged reports of a visit made by a Chinese tour group to the lavishCatherine Palace outside of St. Petersburg back on August 2nd. "
That means source of this post is " (Shanghaiist)" ?
which says, : "According to Radio Free Asia, Russian media has recently published outraged reports of a visit made by a Chinese tour group to the lavish Catherine Palace outside of St. Petersburg back on August 2nd -- a date that will live in infamy."( emphasis supplied ).
OP : Why have you ommitted the underlined statement and subsequent lines from your post ?
Let us see what "(Shanghaiist)" says:
"A date that is also more than a little fishy. According to the palace's website, the Catherine Palace is closed on Tuesday. August 2nd was a Tuesday. Radio Free Asia, as well as various Hong Kong and Taiwan media outlets, cite a St. Petersburg TV station in their report.
"Despite the reported online fury, Shanghaiist has not been able to locate this story on any Russian media outlet."
